This past 11-14th March 2008, Madrid Plataforma Logistica attended the International Week of Transport and Logistics (SITL) Europe held in Paris, a biannual event at which, this year, MPL appeared for the second time.
On this occasion, Madrid Plataforma Logística was given a space of 18m2 within the Official Pavilion of Spain, organised by the ICEX, in which it was accompanied by PromoMadrid.
The same pavilion also accommodated another 19 companies and Spanish institutions, each with their own space, including: Nacex, SIL BCN, Tradisa, Plan de Promoción de Murcia, Cartagena Port Authority, Cadiz Bay Port Authority, Vigo Port Authority, Seville Port Authority, Santander Port Authority, Villagarcía Port Authority, Avilés Port Authority, Bilbao Port Authority, Algeciras Port Authority, Pasajes Port Authority, Almería Port Authority, Motril Port Authority and the partners of MPL Port Authorities of Castellón, Ferrol and Valencia. Another partner of MPL, the Barcelona Port Authority, also had its own space within the fair enclosure at Paris Nord Villepinte.
SITL Europe, together with Transport & Logistics in Munich, is the industry’s leading European event on the calendar. The “Salon SITL”, which held its 24th annual event in 2008, is organised by Reed Exhibitions, whose Spanish division – Planner-Reed – is a number artner of MPL. The event includes the presence of companies representing three large sectors: transport and logistics services (transport and logistics, professionals from the chain of logistics, storage and warehousing, order preparation, co-packing/co-manufacturing, advanced logistics, transit and transport assignment); services in technology and logistics information systems (logistics-related IT, automatic identification, warehouse management programme packages and telecommunications) and services of infrastructure, site planning and logistic real estate
